Congress itself is responsible for K'taka political crisis: BJP

After the resignation of 13 MLAs, the Congress-JD(S) coalition government in Karnataka is on the verge of collapse. BJP spokesperson has taken jibe on Congress saying that it should review their mistakes before criticising BJP for the political crisis in the state.

New Delhi: The 13-month-old Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government in Karnataka is on the brink of collapse after 13 legislators of the two parties have submitted their resignations to the Speaker on Saturday.

In fact, the Independent MLA H. Nagesh resigned as Minister in the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka on Monday.

There are rumours that BJP is behind this mass resignation as the charted plane used by the rebellion MLAs are said to be owned by BJP MP R Chandrasekhar. In fact, some close ones of Maharashtra's Chief Minister Fadnavis have been spotted near the hotel thesKe MLAs are residing currently.

BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain has rejected these accusations saying that Congress itself is responsible for the situation in Karnataka. He added that Congress should review their mistakes before criticising BJP for the political crisis in the state.

Nevertheless, this time BJP is in favour of following the 'Wait and Watch' policy and will not take any decision in a hurry. The party can support re-elections in the state as the party got splendid results in the recently concluded general elections. The party hopes to be in power after the re-elections.
