Chamarajanagara:Five teams led by the district superintendent of police on Thursday seized vital documents related to the Chamarajanagar oxygen tragedy from the district hospital.
The teams headed by Chamarajanagar DySP Priyadarshini, Kollegala DySP Nagaraj, DCR B Ansar Ali, and police inspectors from the Women's Police Station and the local police station were investigating the case for more than three hours at the time this article was published.

During the investigation at the health department's hall, district health officer Ravi fainted in front of the police officers.
On the wee hours of Monday, a total of 24 patients, 23 of them COVID-infected, died within 24 hours in Chamarajanagar due to an alleged oxygen shortage in the district hospital. According to the Chamarajanagar district in-charge minister S Suresh Kumar, the oxygen cylinders were supposed to come from Mysuru. However, there was some glitch. A judicial inquiry into this tragedy has already been ordered.
