Mysuru (Karnataka):KarnatakaChief Minister BS Yediyurappa's son BY Vijayendra's reported visit to a temple in Nanjangud, Mysuru district, violated the lockdown rules prohibiting inter-district travel and shrine visits, which triggered the Congress leaders on Wednesday to lodge a complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru.
Vijayendra, the Bharatiya Janta Party State Vice-President has been outraged on Social media because he visited the temple.
According to the reports, the security personnel had blocked the media from making a video and capturing the photo of Vijayendra while his visit to the temple.
A delegation of Congress leaders has complained to the Deputy Commissioner, Rohini Sindhuri, accusing Vijayendra of violating the Disaster Management Act 2005, Section 51, and the Karnataka Infectious Diseases Control Act 2020, urging to lodge an FIR against him.
