Bengaluru (Karnataka):The city civic body took more than a week to demolish a tilted building in the city, which forced the evacuation of 35 families, an official said on Wednesday.
"BBMP has completely demolished the leaning building in Hebbal-Kempapura without damaging neighbouring structures," tweeted Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) commissioner B.H. Anil Kumar with pictures.
Located on Vinayaknagar Street in Hebbal Kempapura, the four-storey building being used as a hostel for boys got tilted on February 5, spreading panic in the neighbourhood.
