Bengaluru: Father kills three minor children, commits suicide

A Nepal-based man killed his children before committing suicide in Bengaluru city. The man worked as a security guard in an apartment complex and was dejected over the fact that his wife had recently committed suicide.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): A Nepal-based man committed suicide after killing his three minor children in Mico Layout of Bengaluru City.

Janakraj Bista (32) killed himself and his children Saraswathi (14), Hemati (9), and Raj Kumar (3). Janakraj Bista stayed in Ramanasri Enclave Apartment in the city and was working as a security guard there.

Two months ago, his wife committed suicide by hanging herself. Frustrated due to this, Bista killed his children and committed suicide.

The corpses have been taken to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem. Southeast Division DCP Joshi Shreenath Mahadev visited and inspected the spot.
