Bengaluru (Karnataka): Actress Ragini Dwiwedi's car driver and one more drug peddler from Bengaluru have been taken into custody by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in connection with the Sandalwood drug nexus on Monday.
Based on the statement of Dwiwedi's friend and drug peddler and Ravishankar, CCB police arrested Nayaz for further investigation into the matter. CCB Police arrested Nayaz on Sunday night under charges of supplying drugs to Ragini and Ravishankar.
Along with Nayaz, CCB police also arrested Ragini's driver for alleged involvement in drug dealings.
Meanwhile, CCB Police have sent Ravishankar and another drug peddler Veeren for Medical test.

Earlier, the Karnataka Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested actor Ragini Dwivedi after CCB raided her flat at Yelahanka in Bengaluru's northern suburb for alleged use of banned drugs in the Kannada film industry.
Ragini has been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
CCB came into action after film director Indrajith Lankesh indicated that some of the actors of Kannada film industry were allegedly consuming drugs.
The actress has been arrested as a part of the ongoing police investigation into the use of drugs by celebrities. Ragini and her aide had attended some parties in the past and are suspected to have used drugs.
CCB police have been investigating the case in connection with the abuse of banned drugs like marijuana, cannabis, cocaine and hashish at rave parties of celebrities. The police are detaining the friends of actresses over supplying drugs to the celebrity parties.
