Bengalurean 'Thanos' wants you to erase all viruses, not just half

Bengaluru-based artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy who is known for using his creativity to deliver important messages, has painted murals of Marvel supervillain Thanos urging people to was their hands. He also painted the iconic scene from Titanic, where the characters of Jack and Rose can be seen wearing facemasks and standing at a safe distance from each other.

Bengaluru (Karnataka):Though supervillain Thanos from the Marvel Universe wanted to erase half the living things in the universe, the popular antagonist in Bengaluru wants people to wipe out all viruses off their hands.

In a bid to spread awareness about the precautionary measures against COVID-19, renowned Bengaluru artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy, has painted a mural of Thanos holding a soap, urging people to wash their hands to stay safe from the virus.

In the Marvel Universe, while Thanos wanted to erase half the living population in the universe to create the 'perfect balance', the supervillain's mural in Bengaluru seems to urge people to erase all viruses, and not just half, to protect themselves from infection.

"Wash hands, save yourself!" tweeted Nanjundaswamy.

However, Thanos is not the only character from popular culture on Bengaluru's walls to educate people about COVID precautions.

Nanjundaswamy has also painted the iconic scene from the movie 'Titanic' where Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) are standing at the bow of the ship with their arms outstretched.

On the Bengaluru wall however, the couple is wearing facemasks, and is also at a safe distance from each other, as if portraying the new way of romance in corona times.

But this is not all. The artist has used his creativity to deliver many important messages from the walls of Bengaluru.
