Bank employee shot by loan defaulters in Bengaluru

A private bank employee was shot by two loan borrowers in Bengaluru after getting into a heated argument with them during recovery of the loan amount. The victim sustains bullet injuries at the lower part of his chest and he has been admitted to a local hospital in a critical condition.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Two loan borrowers shot at a private bank employee who came for loan recovery in Bengaluru late on Wednesday night.

The incident took place at a private apartment in Hennuru.

After both the accused, Mayuresh and Amruthesh, started avoiding calls from the bank for loan recovery, bank employee Abdul Samad went to their apartment to talk to them.

Getting into a heated argument, Mayuresh and Amruthesh fired at Samad who sustained bullet injuries at the lower part of his chest.

Locals informed the police and Samad was rushed to Super Specialty Hospital for treatment.

Doctors stated that Samad's condition is critical due to extensive blood loss.

An FIR has been registered in Hennuru police station and a hunt is on to nab the absconding accused.
