Another inhumane burial has been captured in Karnataka, where the body of a suspected COVID patient was thrown into a pit in a careless manner. Similar burial 'treatment' was reported from Ballari, when footage showing officials dumping bodies of COVID -19 victims caused outrage.

Yadagiri: A suspected COVID patient who died on Tuesday was buried in an inhumane manner in Halgera village in Karnataka's Yadagiri district.

In a video, that has surfaced on social media, shows how the workers in PPE kits drag the wrapped body and carelessly toss it away into the pit.

The body of the deceased was taken to Halgera village as his family decided to bury him in his hometown.

The post-mortem report of the deceased is still pending, said sources.
