Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Amit Shah's two-day state tour has become a boon for Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa. Leadership change controversy has closed and this gave a harsh message for the unhappy and rebel MLAs.
The BJP High Command has closed the controversy of leadership change that has been heard since BJP came to power. BJP national president JP Nadda and PM Narendra Modi agreed to Amith shah's decision, and now Amith shah closed the controversy of leadership change in the state.
Union Home Minister and BJP Chanakya Amit Shah toured the state for two days on January 16 and 17. He was involved in government programs and party programs. On all sides, he gave statements in favour of Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa. He also appreciated the steps taken by the Yeddyurappa government during the Corona pandemic.
Amith shah gave the message as, Yeddyurappa will be the chief minister for the remaining two and a half years, the BJP government will be there, and take responsibility to bring BJP government into power in next election also.
Amit Shah also admonished BJP state leaders at the BJP core committee special meeting. He questioned BJP state president Nalin Kumar Katil and other core committee members, why they are silent even if MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal is repeatedly making statements against Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa. "Blaming CM, again and again, is not good. Party must stay with CM. If someone is unhappy for not getting a minister post, they must tell it within the party. Instead, they should not give public statements. If someone does so, take strict action," Shah said.
Amit Shah's statement against Yatnal has disturbed those who shouted for a leadership change. It has also broken the rebellion.
