Special emphasis was laid on social distancing in the salon, and customers were only allowed to enter after being thermally scanned and sanitised at the entrance. Further, masks were also mandatory.
Chairs and floor are also cleaned after the customer uses them. Further all transactions are being undertaken through digital payments.
North Bangalore DCP Shashikumar N, who also visited the salon today, appreciated that all the norms were being strictly adhered to. Karnataka had yesterday issued an advisory for reopening salons in the state.
As per the standard operating procedure (SOP), customers with fever, cold, cough and throat pain should not be allowed to enter the shop, and both customers and staff must wear masks, said an official.
