Karnataka officer's properties searched in corruption probe

Karnataka Administrative Services officer B Sudha heads the information and biotechnology department and is being raided in connection with the illicit property issue.

Bangalore: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday raided nine locations related to properties of Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) officer B Sudha.

The officer heads the information and biotechnology department and is being raided in connection with the illicit property issue. The houses of Sudha's relatives, friends, and close relatives are also under the scanner.

Also raid: Income Tax Dept conducts searches in Bihar

The raids come following a complaint against Dr. B Sudha's involvement in corruption.

On November 7, the several locations in Bangalore, Mysore, and Udupi districts were also raided during which several illegal assets were discovered.
