Ranchi: Terror by a wild elephant in Ranchi continues in rural areas of Ranchi. On Saturday, the elephant crushed three people at different places in the Lapung station area. Whereas, two people were severely injured. The police and forest department have been informed by the village members. After being separated from his herd, the wild elephant first reached Khartanga Sarna Toli village. Villagers Sushma Toppo and Suman Aviral Khalkho were crushed to death. Villagers later chased the elephant away.

A wild elephant continues to spread devastation in rural areas of Ranchi. 3 people have been crushed to death and several injured. The police and forest department have been informed.

The elephant later reached Samar Toli village and entered the slum and trampled a 70-year-old woman. From here, the elephant reached Nadi Toli village and here the animal crushed two security men who were safeguarding their land. Both of them have been sent to the hospital and are undergoing treatment.
