The building is a residential training centre for the Nursing courses in Dumka district.

However, due to persistent negligence from the health department, the building is in ruins.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, students from the centre said they are afraid of any untoward incident that might take place at the campus.

Further, students also urged the government to repair the building and address the issue immediately.

Uma Pramanik, principal of the training centre, said that she is afraid of the imminent danger.

Pramanik also stated that she informed the senior authorities regarding the situation and no response has been given yet.

Presently, two batches of 57 students are currently undergoing training at the campus.

Ironically, students pointed out that individuals learning to save lives are doing it in 'unsafe' conditions.
