Senior Jharkhand Congress leader, Furqan Ansari talks on Maha coalition in Jharkhand. He said that despite coalition partner Rashtriya Janata Dal party fielding their candidate for Chatra seat, the party was ready for a friendly political fight.

New Delhi:Senior Jharkhand Congress leader, Furqan Ansari said that Congress has fielded him as the candidate for the Godda Lok Sabha constituency.

He added that there are chances of a friendly political fight in the Godda seat under Jharkhand alliance, as the seat has been given to Jharkhand Vikas Morcha party despite Congress having a strong hold on the Godda seat.

Similarly, despite the alliance, Rashtriya Janata Dal party will field their candidate for Chatra seat which will also lead to a friendly political fight between Congress and RJD.

He also said that due to non-availability of tickets, there is resentment among the minorities.

In 2014 elections, JVM was in the second position while Congress was in the fourth position in Jamshedpur.

Furqan Ansari added that had Ajoy Kumar stayed in JVM party then the seat would have been given to JMM under the extent of the alliance.
