He demanded that the temporary and permanent leaseholder residents at HEC be given ownership rights of their respective houses and shops. He also asked for a pay revision for the HEC employees.

Seth said that Meghwal carefully listened to his demands and assured of all possible help. The MP hoped that his demands are met soon.

On the prevailing COVID-19 situation in Jharkhand, Seth said that the current Hemant Soren government is proving to be a failure in tackling the pandemic, and if the same continues, the state could see over one lakh cases in September alone.

The Parliamentarian said that testing must be ramped up in the state and quarantine facilities be built on a large scale.

Though the Centre has provided all possible help, the state government is blaming the union government to divert attention away from its own failures, Seth said.

Meanwhile, on the upcoming by-polls for two Assembly seats in Jharkhand - Dumka and Bermo, Seth expressed confidence that the BJP would emerge victorious as the people were angry with the Hemant Soren government's inefficiency.
