Palamu: To ensure development in every corner of Jharkhand, the Palamu district police lay roads in the Naxal-affected region of Rajkheta village.
Rajakheta village, situated 4 km away from Bihar's border, is home to 50 families.
The road built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has been constructed after carving a way out between two hills.
Since the region is affected by Naxals, security personnel were deployed to avoid any disturbance during the construction of the road.
Palamu SP Ajay Linda said, "Security personnel were deployed to avoid any unwelcome situation during the road constructions. The police are continuously striving to address the issues faced by the villagers."
According to the officials, it is believed that after the construction of this particular road, the way to destroy Naxals will be smooth.
Police build road in Naxal-hit district of Jharkhand Villager Santosh Yadav said, "The road has been constructed for the first time after the independence. We faced a lot of difficulties earlier but there is access to lots of benefits after road construction."
With the construction of the road, the villagers in the Naxal-affected region will get access to basic amenities.
