Chaibasa:An atmosphere of fear has been prevailing in the interior villages of Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, after some hand-written pamphlets by Naxals were found in the area.
According to reports, the hand-written pamphlets were issued by the banned outfit CPI (Maoist), and were addressed to the village heads. Through the pamphlet, the Naxals demanded that village heads provide at least 10 youngsters from each village as recruits for the banned organisation.
After the pamphlets were found, an atmosphere of fear has prevailed in the villages. Meanwhile, upon receiving information, West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Indrajit Mahatha, ordered for a complaint to be filed.
