Maoists blow up railway track in J'khand

Ranchi: Suspected Naxals blew up a railway track in Jharkhand's Dhanbad route on Tuesday morning after which 23 bogies of a goods train derailed, disrupting railway services on a busy route.

The engine driver and guard has been severely injured in the incident.

The derailment has affected train movement on both the up and down lines. According to officials, the routes for few trains including Garib Rath and Jammu Tawi express will be changed as the restoration will take around 48 hours.
