Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): Jharkhand police on Saturday arrested a man accused of killing his wife, two minor daughters and their tuition teacher in Jamshedpur. The incident took place on 12 April.
The police have arrested the accused Deepak Kumar, an employee of a private steel manufacturing company in Jharkhand. Police said Kumar confessed that he originally wanted to murder his friend Roshan for cheating him in a business partnership, incurring him losses worth several lakhs of Rupees.
However, he was worried about the future of his family. According to the police, the accused killed his wife and children "in a bid to save them from problems" that may follow his capture.

He first killed his wife and daughters and dumped their bodies in a room. The police investigation also claims to reveal that Kumar murdered his daughters' tuition teacher who spotted dead bodies at his place.
According to police, Kumar threatened her to remain quiet but later killed her worrying if she would reveal the murders to the police. An investigation by police revealed that he strangulated the tuition teacher to death and raped her dead body.
