J'khand: Three Naxals killed in encounter

Three Naxals were gunned down in an encounter with the police in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Thursday. Police have seized one AK-47 and two SLRs from the site.

Ranchi: Three armed Naxals of the outlawed Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) were killed in a gunfight with police in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Thursday.

Police have seized one AK-47 and two SLR from the site.

Additional Director General of Police (Operation) M L Meena said that three TPC Naxals belonging to Aazad Dasta Giroh were gunned down in the encounter.

A search operation is underway in the area.
