Ranchi:Congress MP from Jharkhand Dheeraj Sahu has said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren will complete his term in the state given the kind of work he is doing for his people.
"The BJP is spreading rumours that nine Congress MLAs complained against Soren to the party's top leadership in Delhi. They are false, he will complete his term in Jharkhand and the coalition government will win the by-elections too," Sahu said.
Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu in conversation with ETV Bharat He further said that several Congress leaders had recently met with the top leadership but it had nothing to do with Hemant Soren's government.
Sahu also alleged that the Centre did not provide necessary help to Jharkhand in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Coronavirus count in Jharkhand is comparatively lesser than other states, it is fighting the pandemic in a better way. But, despite the state having around 30k cases, the Centre does not bother to provide it with more funds or better facilities," he added.
It is to be noted that Dheeraj Sahu is the likely candidate for Jharkhand Congress president's position. The minister, however, termed it as a rumour and said that he does not even wish to become the president.
