Simdega (Jharkhand): A man, who had gone missing from his native village in Bihar's Nawada district four years back was reunited on the new year due to the initiative of ETV Bharat.
Upendra Chauhan, in his 30s, had left his home four years back as he was not mentally stable.
It is to be noted that ETV Bharat had published a report in this regard on December 19, 2019. It was mentioned in the report that a deranged young man was being treated in the Sadar Hospital of Jharkhand's Simdega for about a month.
Following the report, Kiran Chaudhary, chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, took cognizance and with the help of Munnu Sharma, a human rights activist, succeded in searching Chauhan's family.
