New Delhi: Jharkhand Congress in-charge RPN Singh on Monday alleged that the Centre was sitting on funds meant for the state as a non-NDA government was in power in the state.
Speaking to ETV Bharat after a meeting with party president Sonia Gandhi, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Rahul Gandhi, Singh said that the Centre was not releasing funds meant for Jharkhand.
RPN Singh in conversation with ETV Bharat He said the above was discussed at the meeting at Sonia Gandhi's residence, and added that Chief Minister Hemant Soren would soon take up the issue with the Centre.
He alleged that the BJP-led government at the Centre has not been helping states where non-NDA governments are in power.

Speaking to reporters after the meet, Soren said it was a courtesy meeting and he met the leaders after a gap of one year.
The Chief Minister added that his government in Jharkhand completed a year last month, during which several key decisions in favour of the public were taken.
Soren said that leaders at the meeting also discussed about continuing the coordination between the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress to ensure speedy developmental work in the state.
