BJP protests in Jharkhand Assembly continues for the second day

BJP continues their protest in Jharkhand Assembly on various issues including the Namaz room on Tuesday. On the third day of the monsoon session, before the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs were seen targeting the Hemant Soren government by reciting Hanuman Chalisa.

Ranchi:BJP continued their protest in Jharkhand Assembly on various issues including the Namaz room on Tuesday. On the third day of the monsoon session, before the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs were seen targeting the Hemant Soren government by reciting Hanuman Chalisa.

BJP MLAs reached the assembly wearing the attire of a priest with sandalwood paste applied on their heads. Under the leadership of former Chief Minister and BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi, BJP MLAs continued to oppose the government's employment policy, closure of temples, and allotment of namaz rooms in the assembly.

Babulal Marandi, who was reading Hanuman Chalisa, said that the government should think about why this protest is happening. At the same time, the Chief Whip of the opposition party, Biranchi Narayan, expressed displeasure over the decision of the Speaker and asked if the allocation of Namaz room in this temple of democracy is not appeasement then what is it.

On the other hand, MLAs Amar Bauri and Neera Yadav expressed their displeasure over the functioning of the government and said that the Hemant Soren government should get a good sense.

Expressing displeasure over the problems being faced by the common devotees as well as the shopkeepers and priests associated with the temple due to the non-opening of the temples by the Hemant government, MLA Narayan Das said that Baba Bholenath has sent him with a message that if the temple does not open then Hemant Soren government's door will be closed.

He also expressed displeasure over the problems being faced by the common people due to the wrong policy of the government.
