Ranchi (Jharkhand):With the BJP in Jharkhand deciding to form a shadow cabinet to keep a check on the working of the Hemant Soren government, the Congress on Thursday said that when in power, the saffron party looted the state, and is now resorting to "drama".
Speaking to reporters, Congress' Jharkhand in-charge RPN Singh said, "The BJP at the Centre couldn't do anything during the six months of COVID. Now they want to make a shadow cabinet. First they should release the funds due for Jharkhand. The Centre is sitting on the money which belongs to the people of Jharkhand, and not the BJP."
"The entire nation saw how the BJP looted Jharkhand during its tenure, and now they are talking about corruption? They wasted six long months only on deciding a leader of opposition, now they will waste six more months on this shadow cabinet," he added.
Singh further said that it was just the BJP's way of doing "drama" and diverting the people's attention.
