Ramgarh: The biometric feature of the Aadhar card guided an eight-year-old to unite with his family after eight months.
Aadhaar card unites missing boy in Jharkhand The incident dates back to September 18, 2018 when this minor boy lost his way in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra only to land up in Ramgarh in Jharkhand.
On spotting the lost child, railway police officials interrogated the boy but could find only very little details about him.
Later, the police handed the child to the state Child Protection Unit.
The Child Protection Unit took the child to school for admissions that required Aadhar specifications. Following this, he was taken for Aadhar enrollment, where the system automatically declined to accept the child's information.
It was then well clear, that the child had his Aadhar information recorded. The officials later figured out the other details from his Aadhar number and were able to reach out to the boy's family.
