Jammu: People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said that the biggest sacrifice made by her party was blocking the BJP and trying to form a government by joining hands with the saffron party.
"The biggest sacrifice of PDP was to go ahead with the BJP, where we stopped them, but something wrong happened that people do not understand. We joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party in the past to solve the issue of Jammu and Kashmir and to protect Article 370," she said while addressing the party workers. Mufti said that there was peace at the border during the PDP regime and the party had done a lot of development work in Rajouri and Poonch districts during its tenure.
