Jammu Kashmir: Two LeT militant associates arrested with IED in Pulwama

Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two active associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit at Circular Road in southern district of Pulwama on Wednesday.

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested two active associates of the Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit at Circular Road in southern district of Pulwama on Wednesday.

A police official also confirmed that during a joint raid by Police Pulwama, 55 RR and 182 bn CRPF at circular road, Pulwama, they apprehended two active associates of LeT namely Amir Bashir Dar of Sirnoo, Pulwama and Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat of Matri Bugh, Shopian.

According to police, they were arrested with two ready-to-use IED’s. The police have registered a case in the matter and an investigation was taken up.
