It started with Srinagar-based radio jockey Sardar Nasir Ali Khan's tweet that his FM station in Kashmir is bringing back the romantic melodies of the 1990s.

"Can proudly say that we are first radio station here in the valley to bring back the Romantic Melodies of 90s era back on radio. Do listen to 95 @fm_tadka today. An audio tweet awaits," Khan tweeted.

To this, J&K's Principal Secretary planning and government spokesman Rohit Kansal replied: "Way to go...Melodies of the 90s. Sweet Nostalgia...my personal favourites- Pehla Nasha (JJWS) Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye (Jurm) and Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jana Sanam (DDLG)."
