New Delhi: Since the abrogation of Article 370, Modi government's stand on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir region is very clear. On Thursday, MoS PMO Jitendra Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the dream of unfurling tri-colour in PoK will come true one day.
Singh made these remarks at the renaming ceremony of India's longest tunnel Chenani Nashri (J&K) after the founder of Bhartiya Jan Sangh party Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Chenani Nashri was inaugurated by PM Modi in 2017.
"Even after PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah's daring step to revoke Article 370, somehow the promises made to Syama Prasad Mukherjee are still to see light of day. The tri-colour which Mukherjee gave to us is yet to be unfurled in PoK. I am hopeful that under PM Modi's leadership this dream will come true," Singh said.
