Militants fired upon a joint CRPF and police naka party at Hygam
Jammu and Kashmir: At least one CRPF jawan received injuries after militants attacked a naka party of security forces at Hygam area of Baramulla on Wednesday. The area has been cordoned and an operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
Earlier today, an unidentified militant and a soldier were killed in a gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
One of the two Indian Army soldiers who suffered injuries during an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama today, is in a critical condition. Sepoy Julajit Yadav is undergoing treatment at a hospital after he received a bullet injury on his chest, said an official to ETV Bharat.
One militant was also killed in the gunfight, the officials said, adding that an AK rifle and a few grenades were recovered from the encounter site. The identity and affiliation of the slain militants are being ascertained, they added.
