Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri

Pakistani troops fired with small arms and intense shelling with mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. The Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.

Rajouri: Pakistan on Sunday initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

The ceasefire violation took place at 7:15 pm when Pakistan fired with small arms and intense shelling with mortars.

The Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.

On Friday, three members of a family were killed when Pakistani troops shelled various forward areas and civilian places along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Pakistan army also shelled heavily the hamlets along the LoC in Khari Karmara sector.

The local residents had also staged protests against Pakistan for frequently violating the ceasefire and targeting civilian areas.
