Militants attack security forces in Nowgam of Srinagar

A CRPF party was attacked in the Srinagar suburb of Lasjan. No casualties were reported as of yet. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area and are searching for the attackers.

Srinagar:Militants attacked a party of security forces today in Lasjan area, a suburb of Srinagar. No casualties have been reported by the security forces yet.

According to sources, unidentified militants opened fire on a party of CRPF's 110 Battalion at around 10:25 this morning.

Sources said that immediately after the attack, the entire area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched to find the attackers.
