Srinagar:The administration of Jammu and Kashmir are claiming that efforts have brought normalcy since the modification of Article 370.
A local named Adil who runs a childline in Anantnag said that he has not received a single call since August 5 as the landline connections have not been restored.
"We are still facing communication problems as landlines and mobile phones are not functioning fully," said Adil.
Another local who works as a travel agent said, "Although the government has been claiming about the restoration of 35,000 landlines, the reality is that all the landlines are still not working. The government should address the issue immediately."
The communication blackout was imposed on August 5, ahead of Parliament modifying Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
