Srinagar(Jammu and Kashmir): Two months after his son was killed by the militants in the Dalgate area of Jammu and Kashmir's capital Srinagar, the owner of the famous eatery - Krishna Dhaba, resumed work on Tuesday.
Speaking to ETV Bharat at his eatery, Ramesh Kumar, the owner, said that his son will not return from death and he doesn't have any hatred for his killers. "My son will not return. Those who killed him are also children of their parents. I don't have hatred for them or don't curse them," Kumar said.
Kumar, who originally hails from the Jammu region, says they have been running the eatery for decades and are domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir. His son Akash Kumar Mehra was killed by militants on February 17 this year on the same day when foreign envoys were visiting the Valley for two days.
A lesser know militant outfit, Muslim Janbaz Force, had on social media claimed to have killed Mehra for "being a non-state subject and having acquired domicile certificate" in Jammu and Kashmir.
