Kashmir student awarded scholarship to study in Germany

The scholarship paves the way for 16-year-old Inayat Yousuf to study at Robert Bosch College in Germany. Every year the college selects one student from India and several tests are held to qualify for the aid.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir):A student in Jammu and Kashmir, struggling his way through difficulties, has won a scholarship worth Rs 60 lakhs to study in Germany.

The scholarship has paved the way for 16-year-old Inayat Yousuf to study at Robert Bosch College in Germany. Every year the college selects one student from India and several tests are held to qualify for the aid.

Yusuf comes from a poor family in Shopian district and his father runs a local shop. Talking to ETV Bharat, one of the locals said, " It is a matter of pride for the whole district that a boy from a poor financial background has bagged this scholarship."
