Anantnag (J&K):Another self-proclaimed journalist from south Kashmir's Anantnag has been arrested by J&K police in connection with the case of alleged exploitation of a woman belonging to Central Kashmir.

A Kashmiri journalist was arrested by the JK Police after he was accused of rape, extortion and trafficking.
"Salman Manzoor Shah son of Manzoor Ahmed Shah, resident of Sherpura area of Anantnag, was arrested by the police when he was present at a relative's house in Shangus village in Anantnag," a senior police officer said. "It is being said that Salman Shah is a close associate of self-proclaimed journalist Nadeem Nadu, who was arrested a few days ago by the Srinagar police after being accused by a woman of allegedly raping and threatening her," the official added.
According to the police, a woman filed a sexual harassment complaint against Nadeem Nadu at Women's Police Station Ram Bagh in Srinagar, following which he was arrested. Nadu has been booked under FIR NO 50/2022 U/S 376D, 384 506 IPC of Women's Police station, police said.
