Srinagar:Schools in Kashmir are all set to reopen on Monday after the winter break. The government opened the schools in a phased manner days after the revocation of Article 370, but the move proved a non starter as most students did not attend school.
Director, Schools Education, Kashmir, Mohammad Younis Malik said that all arrangements have been put in place in this regard and the timing for the schools falling within Srinagar's municipal limits will be 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. while in rest of Kashmir division timings will be 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For the last six months most students in Kashmir have been missing school after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5.
