Jammu:Former Jammu and Kashmir chief ministers Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah who were in detention since August 5 have been shifted from Srinagar to Bathindi area of Jammu.
All top mainstream leaders, including three former chief ministers, former ministers and legislators were detained by the government immediately after scrapping of Article 370 and bifurcation of J&K state into two Union Territories (UTs) by the Centre on August 5.
Earlier on Monday, BJP has hinted that the detained top mainstream leaders will remain in detention for a longer period and said that political leaders involved in corruption will not be spared.
