Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir):In a major success in their anti-terror operations, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday seized a truck carrying a large number of arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, and arrested three operatives of the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group in Kathua in Jammu region.
The police said with the recovery they have managed to "unearth the sinister design of the terrorist organisation and their sponsors to disturb peace and harmony" in the state.
The truck was headed towards Kashmir from Punjab. It was stopped by police on receiving an intelligence tip-off.
