'Gupkar gang' responsible for militancy in J&K: Shahnawaz Hussain

Former Union Minister and BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said that the 'Gupkar gang' members kept the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the dark and fooled them in the name of Article 370.

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir): BJP national spokesperson and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain, has said that the Gupkar gang members have always fooled the innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of Article 370.

He said that the politicians here have amassed wealth and property by politicizing Article 370, sending their children abroad for higher education while misleading the poor and innocent children here.

'I feel sad when a young man dies here. Carrying a gun is tantamount to suicide.' he added.

Shahnawaz said the BJP wanted to see the pen in the hands of the youth here. Meanwhile, separatist parties including political parties like PDP, National Conference, Congress want to see guns in the hands of the youth.

He said BJP's mission for the youth here is to abandon the path of militancy and pick up a pen and write their own destiny with their own hands.

He added that the BJP is the only party that carries people of all faiths together.
