Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): Days after questioning Jammu and Kashmir's former chief minister and People's Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti, Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday summoned her mother for questioning on April 15.

According to the party sources, personnel of ED visited Mehbooba's residence at Srinagar's Gupkar area on Thursday and served notice in the name of her mother.

"They have summoned her mother Gulshan Nazir to appear at their Srinagar office on April 15," a source said.

Last month, Mehbooba was questioned for nearly six hours at ED's Srinagar office on March 25. Following the questioning by the agency, Mehbooba claimed that she was asked questions regarding the sale of their ancestral land in Bijbehara and the use of the chief minister's discretionary fund.
