Bengaluru: Dissatisfied over his portfolio of Ecology, Environment and Tourism, Karnataka Minister Anand Singh has removed the MLA board and has shut down the office in Hospete i Vijayanagara district to show his displeasure over the portfolio allocation.
Speaking to reporters at the Venugopala temple on Wednesday, Singh expressed his dissatisfaction and said, "I'm not into politics to make money. I have already appealed to the leaders. I have conveyed everything."
"My request has also been addressed to former CM BS Yeddyurappa. I have confidence in the party. But I don't know whether they have faith in me or not," Anand Singh said.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai has said that he is in touch with Anand Singh. According to reports, CM Bommai has invited Singh to Bengaluru to resolve the issue. However, Singh said that he has not decided about going to Bengaluru.
"I have not taken any decision on going to Bengaluru. After finishing all my work, I will think about it. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai called me to Bengaluru to have a discussion. I will directly talk with him," he said.
