Baramulla:A terrible fire broke out in Noor Bagh area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir in which 16 houses were burnt to ashes has been brought under control by Indian Army. The fire broke out in Baramulla at around 10 pm on Thursday.

Locals alleged that the fire could have been contained if the fire brigade and safety department took immediate action. They added that the fire control team arrived at the spot an hour after the fire gutted ten to twelve houses. It should be noted that the area where the fire broke out is just a few meters away from the district headquarters.
Fire brought under control by Indian Army The cause of the fire has not been ascertained, however, the police have registered a case and have initiated further investigation.
