Shimla: A lady team of doctors, nurses and sanitation workers at Nerchauk Medical College in Mandi District of Himchal Pradesh has been battling coronavirus despite every odd amid nationwide lockdown, a source said.
"We have been facing huge personal problems, indeed. I haven't seen my family since a month and I won't be able to meet them for many more days. Of course, they get worried but our service to the nation comes first," a nurse added.
She also said that Nerchauk Medical College was turned into a COVID-19 designated hospital soon after the cases spiked in the state. Even though the frontline workers at the hospital have been provided the PPE kit, yet they stand a chance to get infected if they unknowingly commit any negligence.
