Dogs enter temple in Shimla, owner faces police action

Shimla Police has initiated action against a woman who entered a temple premise with her dogs. Police claimed that the woman in question misbehaved and threatened the priest of the temple after he objected to the presence of dogs inside the temple premises. The video of this incident has also surfaced on social media.

Shimla: Shimla Police has initiated action against a woman who entered the premises of Ramkishan Math Temple with her dogs. According to the information, the woman also misbehaved and threatened the priest of the temple after he objected to the presence of dogs inside the temple premises. The video of this incident has also surfaced on social media. This incident was shared by the Shimla Police on their Twitter handle.

The Shimla Police has also tweeted in this regard, "Himachal is Dev Bhoomi where deities and temples are seen with utmost reverence. We will not allow this culture to be defiled by such elements, who pollute its sanctity and threaten the priests. Shimla Police has registered a case on the complaint of the temple priests."

At the same time, Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Dr Rajiv Saizal has called this incident 'shameful'. He has demanded a thorough investigation into this matter.
