Shimla:In a cabinet meeting held on Monday, the administration took many major decisions amidst the ever-increasing cases of coronavirus in the state. The administration has decided to impose night curfew in Shimla, Kangra, Mandi and Kullu districts from 24 November to 15 December. This curfew will remain from 8 pm to 6 am. The state govt has also decided to impose a fine of Rs 1000 for not wearing masks in public places.
All schools and colleges will remain closed till 31 December, while online classes will start in schools from 26 November. Teachers have been ordered to work from home until the next order. The offices of High School, Senior Secondary School and Colleges will open from 26 November. Principal will be able to call faculty members as and when required.
It has further been decided that by December 31, only 50 percent of the third and fourth class employees will come in government offices and employees will come to the office 3-3 days a week.
The state govt has also banned all of it's public programmes and all major political rallies. Only 200 people are allowed to participate in all types of social, political, cultural and sports events with social distancing.
