Failed to address Mandi voters, Priyanka sends video message

Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday expressed regret for cancelling her proposed visit to Mandi on Tuesday. In a video message passed on by the party, she urged voters to support the Congress candidate from Mandi, Aashray Sharma.

Sundernagar:Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh East, Priyanka Gandhi regretted over the cancellation of her proposed visit to Himachal Pradesh due to bad weather conditions on Tuesday.

In a video message, the Congress's star campaigner urged voters to support the Congress candidate from Mandi, Aashray Sharma. She appealed people to vote for Congress and make a young candidate their representative for better development in their constituency.

Priyanka Gandhi was scheduled to address an election rally in Sundernagar on Tuesday but had to cancel it for adverse weather conditions.

Priyanka said in the video, "I was excited to meet the people of Mandi, but we had to cancel the visit due to bad weather. I was waiting whole day in Delhi hoping a little improvement in the weather, but had to abort flying due to adverse weather," she said.
