Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh):In an online competition organized by the Golden Book of World Records of America, Swastik Garg, a Psychology student at Christ University in Bengaluru has set a world record for memorizing 70 words in just one minute titled 'Longest Sequence of Words Memorized in One Minute'. The resident of Naura-Khandol village near Subathu in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district also holds a record titled 'Writing Fastest Periodic Table'.
In the year 2017, Garg took the on-line examination of Sharp Memory talent search in the US Golden Book of World Records, the certificate of which he had received three days earlier. Garg was given 70 words to be memorized by the company, which he performed in just one minute.
Previously the highest number of words memorized in one minute was 50, which has been broken by Garg. He has also broken a world record of writing a science formula in 89 seconds by completing the task in just 83.38 seconds in 'Writing Fastest Periodical'.
